Based at the Hallam Fields Primary School, part of the Lionheart Academies Trust
We are seeking to appoint a positive and enthusiastic Behaviour Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
The successful candidate will work 1:1 with a pupil who has significant difficulty focusing attention and has a tailored learning programme. The programme includes working in and outside the classroom under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCo to run the strategies in place for the pupil and their challenging behaviour.
The post is for 30 hours per week, Term time only, fixed term until 31 August 2019 (with the view to being extended)
Actual hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30a.m. – 3.30p.m. (Which includes an unpaid hour lunch break)
Salary: Grade 6 - Actual salary £11,972 - £12,684 depending on experience
