Paying up to £400 per day, depending on qualifications and experience

 

Lionheart Academies Trust have a new and exciting opportunity for consultants to join the trust to work on behalf of our NCCE Computing Hub.

The NCCE was created to deliver the government’s commitment to improving computing education at all levels.  There are 35 regional school-led Computing Hubs across the country which support this work.  Lionheart Academy Trust has been designated to lead the Computing Hub for Leicester, Leicestershire and South Nottingham.

The post holders will support colleagues across the region to fully embed the aims of the computing curriculum so that all pupils develop a love for the subject and make exceptional progress. Value will also be added by facilitating and unlocking potential in a wide range of other disciplines. This role will bring an opportunity to develop focused tools, resources and programmes of engagement to enable schools to improve the provision and support for underrepresented groups in computing science specifically girls.

The successful candidates will have a proven track record of engaging with primary and/or secondary schools coupled with excellent subject knowledge and a good understand of the wider educational landscape. The ability to work and influence varied stake holders across school is key to ensuring that the programme is implemented successfully.
