What are apprenticeships? Is a talk all about apprenticeships!

The talk will cover: 

  • The different levels of apprenticeships
  • Degree & Higher apprenticeships
  • How to search and apply for apprenticeships
  • The industries that offer apprenticeships

There will also be an opportunity for parents and students to ask questions via a Q&A at the end of the presentation. A talk from Apprenticeship Support & Knowledge (ASK).

Feb 11 – Thursday 3:30pm – 4:30pm

Dunelm – Apprenticeships

Feb 12 – Friday 3:30pm – 4:30pm

Leicestershire Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) – A Talk from Leicestershire Police.

This talk will discuss The Leicestershire police PCDA.

  • The degree apprenticeship is open to students from the age of 17. 
  • The PCDA does not require applicants to hold a degree, just a level 2 qualification in English and Maths and a level 3 qualification in any subject.
  • Leicestershire Police will then enter the applicant into a 3 year probationary period during which we will put them through a degree in Professional Policing Practice and employ them as a Police officer with a starting salary of £18,450 pa.
