KS3 Open Days 2022

As a result of a Leicestershire-wide presence highlighting our schools' open days, including across billboards, adverts in local magazines and flyers for feeder primary school, prospective students and their families enjoyed talks from the respective heads of each school, toured the facilities, met with current students and staff and got a taste for life as a student within the Lionheart Educational Trust. 

Prospective Year 7s were given the opportunity to see many subjects in action, from taking part in exciting science experiments to rolling up their sleeves in a design technology workshop. Of course, sample food was also available - always a winner with Year 6 children excited at the prospect of secondary school canteen food!

Open evenings are crucial in the decision-making process for both potential students, and their families, giving them a feel for the school and the chance to explore the academic and holistic opportunities each school offers.

The open evenings highlight what makes our schools stand out from others, so that visitors come away feeling positive, and ready to make their secondary school applications by 31st October.
