KS5 OPEN DAYS

KS5 Open Days were busier than ever this year!

We were pleased to welcome over 2000 prospective students and their families to our recent open days across Lionheart Educational Trust’s four Sixth Forms.

We saw more students than ever attend our open days, giving students the opportunity to meet with our staff and students to explore the next steps on their academic journey within the Lionheart Educational Trust.

Our student ambassadors took centre stage at the open days via their tours of the building and the in-depth conversations they had with students and parents. Future Year 12s were given the opportunity to see a range of subjects in action, from a live 'crime scene ' drama performance showcasing our talented young performers at Cedars Martin, to live experiments conducted by our A level students in Beauchamp City Sixth Form’s purpose-built labs.

Our Sixth Form open days are an ideal opportunity to hear from our Sixth Form teams and subject specialists to discuss the courses on offer, including A Levels and BTECS, as well as discovering the range of excellent extra-curricular opportunities and pastoral support. All of which are essential in the decision-making process for potential students and their families.

It is important that prospective students and parents also look beyond the sixth form to ensure they're making an informed choice about their subjects, and are able to plot a route to their Post 18 Pathway. For this reason, our staff were on hand at the open days to support conversations around UCAS and their futures beyond post-16 study.

The open days highlight what makes our schools stand out from others, so that potential students come away feeling positive, and ready to make their sixth form applications via PS16 (include link).

If you missed the open days and would like to visit one of our Sixth Forms, please contact the school office directly who will endeavour to accommodate you before the application deadline.
