Lionheart staff gather aid in support for Ukraine

Throughout January, staff from across Lionheart’s Leicestershire schools gathered food goods as part of a joint aid effort in support of the people in Ukraine. 

At the request of Leicester Ukrainian Centre, Lionheart employees were asked to donate coffee, cereals, tinned foods and pasta, with each school delivering their filled boxes to Executive Principal of the North West Schools, Julia Patrick, who together with Co-Head of Coalville’s The Newbridge School, Mick Rowbottom, transported them to Leicester. 

A total of 20 boxes filled to the brim with items were received by Leicester Ukrainian Centre, who were “thrilled” with Lionheart employees’ support.
